Finished work, not promises
The quickest way to judge a builder is to look at the work and then talk to the person who ran it.
This page is a straight gallery of the kind of work we do. We have grouped it by type so you can go to the section that matches your own project, and each group links through to the service page where the detail sits.
We have deliberately left out client names, addresses and dates. People let us into their homes for months at a time and we are not going to publish where they live. If you want detail on a particular job, ask. We would rather talk you through it properly, and where a customer is happy to help we can put you in touch or arrange for you to see work in person.
Rockshore Building Group is a family firm, third generation, with 65 years in the trade behind it and over 30 years of combined on-site experience in the current team. Everything you see here was built by our own people, working with local-authority building inspectors so the work meets UK building regulations. We are fully insured and we manage the whole project, so there is one team and one point of contact from the first mark on the ground to the last coat of paint.

Want to see something in person?
Photographs only tell you so much. They do not show you how the site was kept, whether the neighbours were spoken to, or whether the job finished when it was supposed to. That is what you should be asking about.
So ask us. Tell us what you are planning and we will talk you through a job we have done that is closest to it: how it was built, what caught us out, what it cost to put right. Where a past customer is happy to be contacted we will put you in touch, and where a job is still running we can often arrange for you to walk the site with Joe.

Common questions
Is this all your own work?
Yes. Everything on this page was built by our own team. We self-deliver carpentry and joinery, electrical work, plumbing and heating, groundwork, rendering, flooring and roofing, so there is no chain of separate contractors to chase.
Why are there no project names, addresses or dates?
Because these are people’s homes. We do not publish where our customers live or what they spent. If you want the detail behind a particular job, ring us on 01903 411992 and we will go through it with you.
Can I speak to a past customer?
Where a customer is happy to be contacted, yes. Ask us for a reference for the type of work you are planning and we will arrange it. You can also read our verified Checkatrade reviews, where we are rated 10 out of 10 on Checkatrade.
Can I visit a job while it is running?
Often, yes, as long as the customer agrees and it is safe to do so. It is the best way to see how we run a site. Get in touch and we will tell you what we have on at the time.
