A short conversation about what you want, where the property is and roughly when you would like to start.
We visit
Someone comes out, measures up, looks at access and takes photographs. Bring us any drawings or planning correspondence you already have.
You get a written quote
Broken down so you can see what is included, what is provisional and what is not covered.
We plan the job
Programme, order of trades, deliveries and skips. If the work needs building control, we deal directly with the local-authority inspector.
We build it
One team for the whole job, so there is no juggling separate contractors, and one person to ring if anything comes up.
If your project is still an idea rather than a plan, ring anyway. It costs nothing to tell you early whether something is realistic.
Where we work
Our yard is in Worthing and most of our jobs are within a short drive of it. We regularly work in Worthing, Goring, Ferring, East Preston, Rustington, Lancing, Findon, Storrington and Lewes, plus the wider West Sussex area.
We also take work further afield when the project suits us. One of our Checkatrade reviews is for a full kitchen, bathroom, flooring and rendering job in London, so if you are outside Sussex it is still worth asking.

How quickly will you get back to me?
As soon as we can. We are builders, so if we are on site with a machine running we may not answer the phone straight away. Leave a message or send a WhatsApp to 07949 172906 and we will come back to you. Email enquiries go to rockshore_building@outlook.com.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Visiting the property, measuring up and writing the quote is free, and there is no obligation to go ahead. You get a written breakdown so you can compare it properly against anyone else you are speaking to.
Do you cover my area?
We cover Worthing and the surrounding West Sussex towns and villages, including Goring, Ferring, East Preston, Rustington, Lancing, Findon, Storrington and Lewes. We take work further afield too, so ring and ask rather than assuming we cannot help.
What should I have ready before I call?
Nothing formal is needed. It helps if you know roughly what you want, where the property is, and when you would like the work done. If you already have architect’s drawings, a planning reference or a structural engineer’s calculations, send them over and the quote will be more accurate.
Can you deal with building regulations and inspections?
Yes. We work directly with local-authority building inspectors so the work meets UK building regulations, and we manage the site visits and sign-offs as part of the job.
